Meditations on the Second Glorious Mystery the Ascension

 They asked him: "Lord, has the time come? Are you going to restore the kingdom to Israel?" He replied: "It is not for you to know times or dates that the Father has decided by his own authority, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but throught Judea and Samaria, and indeed to the ends of the earth." As he said this he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight. They were still staring into the sky when suddenly two men in white were standing near them and they said: "Why are you men from Galilee standing here looking into the sky? Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven, this same Jesus will come back in the same way as you have seen him go there." (Acts 1:6-11)

In this painting of the Ascension Jesus holds rainbow colored chains in one hand and a good shepherd staff in the other. Both hands holding symbols of our freedom from serpent lies and our sins. Jesus freed us from our slavery to sin by breaking and dissolving the chains holding us to death, with his most precious blood. Jesus holds in his other hand a staff with three crosses to protect and guide his sheep out of the valley of darkness. Jesus please lead us out of the valley of this culture of death were parents kill their unborn children and children kill children. Jesus please lead us out of the valley of darkness with your love for all born and unborn. The cross of Jesus Christ on top of the staff will guide us with the light of love. Moses cross with two serpents is asking us to look at our sins and be healed. Jesus please deliver us from evil as we look at our sin and examine our conscience. Jesus please help us to look at our sin, so we can be healed. We must put our ugly sins of abortion, contraception and sterilization on a cross for all to see, do not hide these sins. A fetus (Latin for little one) face chained to the third cross reminds us of the passion and death of our helpless and innocent children. The sins of contraception and sterilization, which lead to abortion, are chained under the face, cellular and sperm-egg respectively. Jesus please help us to avoid all sin and give us the grace to see the terrible results of our small sins. If you give the serpent an inch he will rule your life forever. The arc under this face thanks God for his rainbow promise of never destroying this world again with a flood. God "said to himself: never again will I doom the earth because of man, since the desire of man’s heart are evil from the start". (Gn 9:21) God the father thank you for not destroying this generation that has murdered more then any other. From the moment of his conception to his Ascension Jesus has been freeing us form the chains of sin. In order to be saved from our sins God sent his son, to free us from the serpent that lied to Eve and Adam in the Garden of Eden. We are all called to be witnesses to the ends of the earth and to use our God given gifts to proclaim the good news.


 
 

The other (side/painting) shows five lies of the past, present and future that we have been chained, still chained and will be chained. Jesus the (blasphemer ) was the first lie Jesus freed us from. As Jesus ascended the cruel chains of blasphemer broke loose. Jesus was lifted up into God's rainbow of heavenly love. Jesus proved at his Ascension that he was both the Son of God and the son of man. The Ascension inspired Mary the Mother of God to lead in prayer the first novena. For nine days after the Ascension to Pentecost they prayed for peace, their minds were filled with fear and confusion. We are called to turn our lives into prayer.

    These types of prayers are pleasing to God: pray silently, with others, use kind words to your neighbors, dialogue about the American Holocaust and do works of charity. The lie of blasphemer and the other four lies from the serpent show what happens when we choose not to have Jesus in your life and turn away from him. Chains of lies are first placed on the weak and helpless. The strong are attacked with feelings of depression, guilt and anxiety.

    Your unborn neighbor is wrapped in an American flag that has turned into a chain of death. In the serpent’s second lie this child of God has the lie of (tissue ) above his head. The serpent has tricked many people into the lie of calling a helpless baby tissue. We are still chained to this lie and only your prayers, fasting and the precious blood of Jesus will break these chains. Lies are used to make it easier to kill or mistreat children of God. We hold these truths to be self-evident, love God, love your unborn neighbor and love your neighbor as our self.

    As Jesus Ascended his followers seemed confused after he was lifted up into the sky, this blessed nation is also in a time of confusion. Many people of this one nation under God believe that life does not begin at the beginning. Some people think that an unwanted baby is tissue until the head is delivered from the womb (ref: to partial birth abortion). Some people think that life begins at forty. Should we believe that anybody under forty is only tissue and can be discarded with the garbage? The Holy Spirit has revealed to people with open hearts that life begins at fertilization (pregnancy, inception, conception, insemination or impregnation). A gardener is able to see when life begins. He sees what appears to be a dead seed come to life when warm water is present. Life begins at the conception and an unrepentant sinner’s death last forever.

    The little slave girl was chained to the lie of (property ). Our U.S. Supreme Court has been tricked into calling people property and tissue. Dear God please forgive this sinner for treating your children like property and tissue. Please God let us grow in your love and ask us not this question ("Why did you do such a thing?" The woman answered. "the serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it")(Gn 3,13). Please God give us the wisdom to see the tricks of the serpent and to learn from our past sins. After years of slavery and a bloody civil war the chains of lies like property were broken with the help Jesus and his followers.

    A woman praying in her bed has the lie of (useless ) above her. Her life is a prayer in deed and word. God loves her and her prayers for the conversion of poor sinners have been heard. This woman is the symbol of future chains and lies. This valuable prayer soldier to Jesus is unable to defend herself from a lethal injection. Your Supreme Court might legalize euthanasia the rotten fruit of abortion someday. A court that can’t tell the difference between people and property, or tissue and babies will surely think that old wisdom is useless. Abortion is the rotten fruit of contraception. Selfish pleasure and sterilization has leaded to a population decline from six people paying into social security for each recipient in 1940 too only two paying in by 2030 for each recipient. Many older Americans will simply starve and euthanasia will not be forced.

    The other little girl has a lie of (vermin ) above her head. She is a new arrival to the death camp and is scheduled for the gas chamber. Her messiah comes in the form of an American soldier freeing her from the chains of nazi hatred. She in return becomes a messiah for him, saving him from severe depression. This over worked soldier never had thoughts of suicide again after seeing the gratitude in her beautiful eyes. After the war he prayed every day for the victims of the Holocaust and for the end of abortion. He prayed that the flag would again protect life as it did when he was serving his country. The little girl grew up and became a witness in Jerusalem asking the world too never to forget the Holocaust. Don’t let the serpent trick you into doing or saying nothing. Jews, Jesus and unborn children have been killed for the same reason, they are unwanted. You have been called to witness for the unborn martyrs.

    Thank you: Prophase Jesus, Metaphase Jesus, Anaphase Jesus, Telophase Jesus, Mitosis Jesus, Zygote Jesus, Cellular Jesus, Embryo Jesus and Fetus Jesus. Thank you for giving us the grace of seeing and acting against the lies of the serpent. Thank you Jesus for ascending and giving us the gift of the spirit after nine days. Thank you for giving us the wisdom to see and avoid the tricks of the serpent.
